The past few days, something keeps coming to me. Eyes being opened, I thought of the eagle, the eagle has much wisdom. Much discernment and sees things other animals cannot see. The Eagle can see from great heights and depths below. So too can we, when the Lord reveals the spiritual things to His people.
Something with the eyes being opened for those who wish to see, they shall see even more. Those who see more, shall receive the greater. For he who is faithful with the little, the Lord shall indeed bless with the much, because His word speaks divine truth. The Lord has been laying or placing deeply upon my heart the book of Daniel and the 70th week.
I don’t watch tv/news, but I heard about the cyclone in England-level 5. I am again reminded of eyes being opened in these last days, to those whom are hungry and thirsty the Lord shall indeed satisfy.
I thought about the eagle, during storms it can fly in the midst of it. The current of the wind carries it and it glides right along with the storm, amazing, truly amazing. I thought about how the crows that nip at the eagles talons when soaring. The eagle must soar higher to flee from the crows. Just as when the enemy is trying to nip at us ..the closer we are to Jesus and the higher up we strive, the enemy becomes but just a speck in view.
But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint. Isaiah 40:31
I’ve been pondering organized religion and how man must be in control, instead of allowing the Triune to lead and guide our steps. Man begins to fear when they lose the reign and so many will fight in the flesh to regain control…
We have three choices in the times we live in. Where do you stand? Apathy? Religious bondage? or Freedom in Christ? The myth is that religion is the gateway to God. The truth is that GOD hates Religion. Religious leaders in the time of Jesus were not godly men but sought to set themselves above the people by displaying their restrictive lives and stringent rules.
Jesus never once implied that his followers belonged to a group or organization, but that they love and imitate him. From all tribes and races of people and tongues, true believers are drawn to God on a Spiritual plane.
Seek him and you will find him. Look to him and he will guide and direct your paths. Religion eases consciences by giving people rules and regulations while God Says…. I am everything you need, I will guide you, I lead you and direct your steps, I will show you in the way to go, provide for you, give you peace, take your affliction, remove your anxiety and heal your pain.
HE will give you purpose, and goes beyond hope to very real promises and protection and strength. Open Eyes Will See and they shall be carried by the arms of the Lord.
