A Mystery Revealed

A Mystery Revealed. Christ return signify the hope of those who believe on his death and resurrection. The event of His return will be so fast!! (twinkling of an eye, basically faster than the eye can blink) The dead in Christ shall rise first, then those who are alive and believe will be caught up to be with Him. It will be a mystery to those who do not believe in Christ and are left behind.

“Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.” ~ 1 Corinthians 15:51-53

Matthew 24:40-41 explains:
“Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left. Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left.”

Whosoever shall seek to save his life shall lose it; and whosoever shall lose his life shall preserve it. I tell you, in that night there shall be two men in one bed; the one shall be taken, and the other shall be left. Two women shall be grinding together; the one shall be taken, and the other left. Two men shall be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left. ~ Luke 17:33-36

God has given us a long time to choose Him, He is merciful and willing to forgive all sins, but just like the days of Noah we will laugh and deny His Love.

“But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only. But as the days of Noe [Noah] were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, and knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.” ~ Matthew 24:36-39

Whether or not we believe in a pre-tribulation, mid-tribulation or post- tribulation rapture, we all must agree there will be a tribulation and there will be a rapture (the catching away of believers to heaven at the second coming of Christ.). I often wonder what it would be like to return to earth with Jesus at the end of the tribulation (Zechariah 14:5, Colossians 3:4). I doubt any book would be able to cover the experience in its full spectrum. So, what are your thoughts on this subject, the rapture?

I don’t believe the Bible gives us enough information to ascertain the exact timing of the catching-away of believers.

I’ve read many articles on the subject, with proponents of each interpretation all using the same scriptures to support their own theories – whilst nullifying others.

The important thing, I believe, is to except Jesus Christ as your LORD and Saviour, live for Him and be ready every day.

We do not know when our lives will end.

If you don’t know Jesus. Get to know Him; there’s no excuse.

Welcome to the site Andrew..I agree with you. The Bible says it time and time again, no one knows the time of His coming, but the Father. Jesus even says He is coming like a thief in the night. We cannot live our lives for the rapture, but we should live each day as if it was our last day, tomorrow is promised to no man!

I personally believe the rapture will occur before the Antichrist is revealed. An I think that time is drawing closer and closer. We are living in a time which show the birth pains which the bible spoke about, and as we know birth pains comes in rapid successions and strength.

I would appeal to anyone who have not believed on the Lord Jesus Christ as savior yet to do so before the Holy Spirit is taken out from among us. The Holy Spirit is the one that calls us now to give our lives to Christ.

No one can call Jesus Lord without the Holy Spirit, so don’t wait any longer it is very important. Get Ready, Jesus is Coming Soon!

This is awesome, the scripture tied to it, and the commentary that follows provoke a real sense of what is to come, and the hope for us that believe.

    Great work!
May God continue to bless the works of your hands as you are faithful in the spreading of His truth to this dying world through your gifting.
