Chief of The Ways of God. The book of Job highlights many attributes of God and His creation including some animals he created along with man, from the smallest to the greatest. God was challenging Job with many rhetorical questions, so he could recognize the supremacy of the creator. The animals are ones that Job would have been very familiar with in his time.

Behemoth: is a creature mentioned in the Book of Job. The word is most likely a plural form of (bəhēmāh), meaning beast or large animal. It indicates that Behemoth is the largest and most powerful land animal ever to exist. The passage describes Behemoth in this way: it was created along with man (Job 40:15a), it is herbivorous (Job 40:15b), it has strong muscles and bones, and it lives in the swamp (Job 40:21). -Wiki

“Behold now behemoth, which I made with thee; he eateth grass as an ox. Lo now, his strength is in his loins, and his force is in the navel of his belly. He moveth his tail like a cedar: the sinews of his stones are wrapped together. His bones are as strong pieces of brass; his bones are like bars of iron.

He is the chief of the ways of God: he that made him can make his sword to approach unto him. Surely the mountains bring him forth food, where all the beasts of the field play. He lieth under the shady trees, in the covert of the reed, and fens.

The shady trees cover him with their shadow; the willows of the brook compass him about. Behold, he drinketh up a river, and hasteth not: he trusteth that he can draw up Jordan into his mouth. He taketh it with his eyes: his nose pierceth through snares.” – Job 40:15-24 (KJV)

Another great creature highlighted was the biggest in the ocean…The Leviathan Job 41:1-34 (KJV)

For many decades, Brachiosaurus was the largest and most powerful land animal known to man. It has since been discovered that a number of giant Titanosaurians surpassed Brachiosaurus in terms of sheer mass.

Brachiosaur: (pronounced /Braekia-sores/): is a huge herbivorous dinosaur, with forelegs much longer than the hind legs. -Dictionary

These giant animals were created along with man NOT millions of years before, but in the same 6 day period that the heavens and the earth was created. The animals along with man suffered by death after the fall of man, not before. We must put God in the right perspective in our lives, He is Powerful and Almighty, He created everything that we can see and things we cannot see and at the same time He desire to have a personal relationship with us. Our physical and spiritual existence depends on Him alone.

The Psalmist recognized this when he ponders… “When I consider thy heavens, the work of thy fingers, the moon and the stars, which thou hast ordained; What is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou visitest him? For thou hast made him a little lower than the angels, and hast crowned him with glory and honor.” – Psalm 8:3-5

AWWWWWWESOME!!. Wow! Good to know. love the seamless composition. The colors are spectacular. May God be praised. Good verses and commentary for those humans who think they are little gods.

Question: Can you hold the Behemoth in your hands? Can you approach him without literally feeling fear pour though your pants?, can you scare it away with your piercing darts? Behold, Behemoth! – Stand Far. There is only one God that could make such a creature to exist with man. The Lord God Almighty.
