Time is Almost Up Wallpaper: Many people ask, “Are we in the last days?” Well, to be honest, I certainly think that we are. Does this belief mean that every Christian should sell what they have, quit their jobs and move to the mountains to wait on the Lord? No, because that would be un-Biblical and just plain stupid. I would say this though, it’s time for the complaisant Christians to re-evaluate their walk with God and start running the race to save as many souls as possible. The signs are all around us, in the news and in our everyday lives. One doesn’t have to look far to see that time is winding down.

” This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.” 2 Timothy 3:1-5

Even though these types of behaviors have been around for generations, we must realize that now it is more widespread. Look at the kids that walk around, both boys and girls, with their pants hanging to their knees so everyone can see their underwear, not to mention how funny they walk; and if anyone wanted to chase them, they could walk and still catch up with them. O.K., I’ll give them a break for a minute, because most of them are expose to rebellious music and media that feed them the very attitudes that are described in 2 Timothy 3:1-5. Music however, isn’t the only thing to blame. Our children are growing up in a society that makes the good seem bad and the bad seem good. Was this in the bible?

There you have it, this was a warning recorded in the old testament, but the actions are now widespread in our society. I heard a story once about how guys get teenage girls pregnant by poking holes in their condoms… to show their manhood. Pause for a second and think about that, and how evil it is. How about the AIDS victims that have sex knowing they will kill their partners. Homosexuality is on a rise in America like no other time. I can’t even flip through tv or watch a movie without some sort of sodomite undertone humming at me, yet people say we Christians force our views on society, how hypercritical. The murder rate in America alone is startling, and a lot of our music and movies advocate it. The moral decay around the world is evident, and Christians are supposed to be against it.

Persecution of Christians is on a rise all over the world and is finally raising its ugly head with its evil grin in America and Canada. Some pastors are now needing a lawyer to look over their sermons to make sure they are not talking about Sodomites. They call it “hate speech”, yet, all the preacher is doing, is trying to expose how horrid the sin/lifestyle is. You see, people are proud of their sins, like I once was. 2 Timothy 3:1-5 doesn’t just show the attitude, but the impact of it. They hate God, so they blaspheme. They can’t control their actions, so they keep moving without God. They commit suicide, because they want an easy way out. They pretend to love, but don’t have the love of the Father. They pretend to love God, but hate his teachings. They love the pleasures of the world instead of God. We are told to stay away from them. Why, because they can put influence into your lives as a Christian. Some of us pretend that we walk out with the armor of Christ, but when we face the opposition they strip you of the armor like it was made out of plastic. We help them walk closer to hellfire instead of pulling them away from it and warning them about the coming wrath of God.

My friends, it is so imperative that we remember our first love, Jesus Christ. We can’t just keep living like everything will be has it always was. This is the way of the world. People are going to hell, people that we care about… or at least should care about. What did the bible say about scoffers?

“That ye may be mindful of the words which were spoken before by the holy prophets, and of the commandment of us the apostles of the Lord and Saviour: Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts, And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation.” 2 Peter 3:2-4

You see, I can type until my fingers bleed, but if I don’t stress the importance of witnessing and let you know why it’s important, while pointing out how it will be when Jesus returns, then I’ve only spoke into a bullhorn set on mute. Please witness, and don’t be afraid, because the Lord will provide the right opportunity, especially if you are equipped with the word of God in your memory.
